Harley Davidson James
Harley Davidson James was born in 2000 in either Michigan or Las Vegas or somewhere in between. He had a rough puppyhood where he learned that not all humans, especially males, are nice. By fall 2005, his owner was boarding him with a Prescott vet and living in a motel because they had been evicted from their apartment due to Harley’s behavior. An employee of the vet knew we were looking for an office dog. Linda went to see him and they clicked. It took about 8 months for trust to fully form, but he has truly bonded with her. Harley is very upset when Linda goes on vacation without him or is out of the office for classes.
Harley loves to greet everyone who comes into the office. Some clients who formerly didn’t like dogs now ask, “Where’s Harley?” when they come in. One client asked if they could wait until Harley was done with his morning walk before they had to leave. Harley knows everyone’s snack and lunch times. He knows who will bring treats. These are his favorite people.
He is joining the roles of senior citizens as he will be turning 10 this fall. Some grey around the muzzle, but still a delightful spirit with enough energy to zoom up and down the office hall.
